How can I buy prints of my image?

You can use this app to buy downloads of your photo. If you would like a printed copy, please follow the instructions on your order form or order online for Schools or Early Years.

Is my image download refundable?

Unfortunately your image download is non-refundable.

Why is my image not available to view?

During busy times, it can take 7 to 10 days for photographs to be uploaded onto our system. Please try again in a couple of days. We apologise for any inconvenience.

What size is the image download?

The size is 6000 x 4800 pixels and can be printed to a maximum of 20" x 16" before any visible pixelation.

Who owns the image copyright?

By purchasing an image from H Tempest Ltd in this format you have been automatically granted the right to reproduce this image as many times as you wish for personal use only. You are also permitted to edit this image to ensure the best possible reproduction. The image itself however remains the property of H Tempest Ltd and must not be used or sold for commercial purposes.

How do I get my image after purchase?

The image will be delivered to your device. You can then save the image and share it with family and friends.

I’ve lost my image reference code, what should I do?

Please contact your school who will be able to provide you with your image reference number. For schools, this is from the disk left by the photographer on the day. 

Will I be able to download my purchased images on multiple devices?

Yes, your images will be available to all your devices, providing you use the same account details to login on each device.

Will the app use any of my device's data charges?

Many processes in the app require an internet connection. Data charges may apply depending on your data allowance from your mobile provider. If you’re connected to Wi-Fi during these processes, you will not use any of your device’s data allowance.

Is there a limit to the amount of images I can scan to the app?

No, you can scan as many images as you like.

How long do my images stay stored on the Tempest app?

Your Tempest images stay stored in the app indefinitely, as long as they’re stored in the Tempest database. This means you could buy a download of your image years after it has been taken, as long as you retain your image reference number.

How do I know which images I’ve already bought and downloaded?

Non-purchased images appear as proofs for you to view. After you purchase, the button then changes to share or download. The images are then yours to keep and share as you please.

I don’t like an image in my gallery, how do I delete it from the app?

Ensure you remove the image from your basket. Select the image in your gallery and tap the bin button in the bottom right corner. If you decide you want the image back in your gallery, you can always re-scan its barcode. 

Do I have to buy every image I scan into the app?

No, you can scan in as many images as you like with no obligation to buy. Once they’re scanned in, you can scroll through the proofs in your gallery and choose which to download and buy.

Can I upload my images and come back to buy them at a later date?

If you login using Facebook or create a Tempest account, your scanned images will be there every time you re-visit the app.

Can I buy and download multiple images at once?

Yes you can. The number in the basket button indicates how many images you’re downloading.

What payment methods can I use to purchase my images?

You can use PayPal and most major credit and debit cards. If you’re having problems with payment we recommend you check your card details or contact your bank to help identify the issue.

I accidently deleted an image download from my device. Can I download it again?

Once you’ve purchased the image, you can download it as often as you like without having to buy it again. Just find the image in your gallery and tap download.

I’ve forgotten the password for my Tempest account, can I reset it?

Yes, just tap ‘Forgot your password?’ on the login screen and you will be guided through the process to reset your password.

Does it make a difference whether I login via a Tempest account or Facebook?

No, the app will allow you to do the same things regardless of how you login.

Is there a difference in image quality if get my download from the app or the website?

No, the image quality is the same from both the app and the website.
